closed Machiko's Momentum of Beauties

The show

On Friday 30th September 2022 at 6.00 pm , the “Venanzo Crocetti” Foundation opens its doors to Machiko Kodera 's personal exhibition entitled Lo Slancio delle bellezze di Machiko .

Mindful of the affection and esteem that Maestro Crocetti had for the Japanese artist, the Crocetti Foundation, which has followed his activity with particular attention, wanted to remember Machiko, 10 years after his death, through his creations.

“The artistic vocation and the artistic abilities of the Japanese sculptress appear at the school of Crocetti while preserving the connotations and characteristics of the sculptress. She quickly reached ambitious goals, both in Japan and in Italy: from her homeland she received assignments for important works; in Italy he performs sculptures representing above all female elegance in all its expressions but with the delicate sensitivity of woman and artist. " (wrote Antonio Tancredi in the presentation of a Machiko exhibition held in 2010)

The exhibition was sponsored by the Rome XV Municipality , the Japanese Cultural Institute and the Italy Japan Foundation .
