From 23 April to 26 April 2026
From April 23 to 26, 2026, Rome celebrates the 4th edition of the Resistance Festival, a major widespread event dedicated to the memory of the Liberation and the values of democracy. Promoted by the City of Rome, the event offers over 100 appointments including lectures, shows, concerts, exhibitions, and meetings, mainly hosted at the Mattatoio di Testaccio and other symbolic places in the city.
At the heart of the initiative is the dialogue between past and present: the Festival connects the 81st Anniversary of the Liberation with the 80 years of the Constituent Assembly, paying tribute to key figures of the Resistance and the Constituent Mothers.
A unique opportunity to experience Rome through culture, participation, and collective memory, with a rich program almost entirely free that transforms the city into a "Citadel of Resistance," open to all.
