The Frac Champagne Ardenne (Fond régional d'art contemporain Champagne Ardenne) is a museum and exhibition space in Reims dedicated to contemporary art. Established in 1984, the Frac Champagne Ardenne collection consists of over 800 works that reflect the great variety of contemporary artistic practice. The Frac Champagne-Ardenne has developed a strong identity over the years, dedicating itself to complementary themes: art and life, art and meeting, art and party, art and play. The Frac aims to promote and disseminate contemporary art, through temporary exhibitions, visits, ateliers and awareness events aimed at all types of public.
The Fracs are institutions created in the early 1980s that aim to create public collections of contemporary art, to disseminate them and to create new forms of art diffusion. Today, every French region is equipped with a Frac.
