From April 24th at Palazzo dei Musei in Reggio Emilia, in conjunction with the European Photography Festival, the twelfth edition of Giovane Fotografia Italiana | Premio Luigi Ghirri will be on display, an open call promoted by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, in partnership with some international festivals, which offers an important overview of the state of contemporary photography in Italy.

Curated by Ilaria Campioli and Daniele De Luigi, the collective exhibition of the eight artists under 35 Daniele Cimaglia (Rome, 1994), Giuseppe Odore (Pompeii, 1995), Davide Sartori (Gallarate, Milan, 1995), Erdiola Kanda Mustafaj (Elbasan, Albania, 1992), Grace Martella (Tricase, Lecce, 2006), Rosa Lacavalla (Barletta, 1993), Sara Lepore (Carpi, Modena, 1999), Serena Radicioli (Latina, 1997) selected by an international jury, will revolve around the theme Unire / Bridging.

Unire/Bridging invites reflection on how images can serve as a means of connection, approach, dialogue, and even care towards the external world. Not only between the photographer and the subject, but also between the image and the viewer, to become a place and a space of solidarity.
