Given the great success with the public, Yuval Avital's Exquisite Anatomies exhibition has been extended . From 2 September to 27 November this new journey reopens , created by the artist in dialogue with the collections of the Civic Museums and with different artistic and craft realities in the area. “Anatomie exisite” by Yuval Avital is the first exhibition in chronological order, inaugurated on 9 June 2022, as part of the Il Bestiario della Terra project of the Reggio Parma Festival. A universe of creatures and creations that lead the public on an unprecedented journey through the spaces of the Museums to discover its exquisite anatomies. The heart of the exhibition are the Cadavres exquis, hybrid beings, half animal, half human or assemblages of several animals that frightened - but fundamentally fascinated greatly - the collective imagination by leaving the human model. The artist gives voice to his unconscious and his imagination by shaping hybrid and fantastic creatures with often bright and contrasting colors, sometimes suspended in the void, others inserted in alienating settings. The Cadavres exquis are not just art games but representations of freedom and the unconscious, an iconographic stream of consciousness of our vision of the world. The participatory monographic exhibition is curated by Alessandro Gazzotti and develops in dialogue with the Spallanzani Collection.
