The Palazzo Zacco Museum is located in the historic center of the city of Ragusa. Palazzo Zacco, recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site, houses the treasures of peasant history and culture. In addition to the "Carmelo Cappello Civic Collection", there are also tools and utensils that tell how life went on in the Ragusa farms in the various months of the year. Tools and utensils of the ancient peasant traditions used for plowing and sowing, the preparation of bread, ricotta and cheeses, and the work entrusted to the skilled hands of women who made precious lace to decorate the country houses. The material that is part of the museum was donated to the Municipality by the Ragusan Polara and La Rosa families, by the heirs of Salvatore Migliorisi and by the citizens Giovanna Attanasio-Gurrieri, Salvatore Cannizzo, Andrea Ottaviano, Giovanni Ottaviano, Giovanni Tumino.
