The Provincial Art Gallery of power is located in the district of Santa Maria. The Museum was founded in 2000 and is accompanied by the Provincial Archaeological Museum. The gallery houses a rich museum collection of paintings and sculptures by local artists, national and international. In particular, the art gallery is concerned with enhancing the artists, emerging or already established, exposing their works in solo and group exhibitions. Among the main works on display include two paintings on wood workshop of Antonio Stabile, local renowned artist. Inside the museum are preserved the nineteenth works by the likes of Giacomo Di Chirico, Angelo Brando, Michael German, Vincenzo La Crete, Giuseppe Mona, Andrea Petrone and many others. In the twentieth century they are celebrated newer artists such as Vincenzo Claps, Luigi Guerricchio, Italo Squiltieri, Carlo Levi, Renato Guttuso and Fausto Pirandello. The Art Gallery hosts temporary exhibitions, cultural events, seminars and conferences focusing on emerging local artists.
