The show

The radical design of the Archizoom, the binary logic of the works of Gianfranco Chiavacci, the collages of Remo Gordigiani, the abstractionist researches of Gualtiero Nativi, Mario Nigro and Fernando Melani, the pop irony of Gianni Ruffi: there are over 70 works that mark the second chapter of the PISTOIA NOVECENTO project with the path of Sguardi sull'arte from the second post-war period , long-term temporary exhibition curated by Alessandra Acocella, Annamaria Iacuzzi, Caterina Toschi that FONDAZIONE PISTOIA MUSEI presents from 19 September 2020 to 22 August 2021 in its headquarters of Palazzo de 'Rossi. PISTOIA NOVECENTO is the large project dedicated to the permanent collection of the Pistoia Museums Foundation with works from the collections of the Caript Foundation and Intesa Sanpaolo (formerly the Cassa di Risparmio di Pistoia and Pescia), designed to allow an as comprehensive as possible reading of the Pistoia artistic panorama in its articulate itself through the last century. The first part of the project, which ended at the end of August 2020, told the story of the first half of the twentieth century.
