The volume reconstructs, through rich iconographic material, the events, themes and critical junctions of the paintings and their authors.

Speakers: Candida Carrino (Director of the State Archives of Naples), Francesco Leone (University "G. D'Annunzio" of Chieti-Pescara), Stefano Papetti (Director of the Civic Museums of Ascoli Piceno) and Isabella Valente (University of " Federico II” of Naples).
