Inaugurated, in the Pescheria's loggia,  'Towards the Giuliano Vangi Museum. The Master of Form'. An important selection of the Vangi legacy (1931 - 2024) composed of approximately 130 works including sculptures, drawings, and resin paintings, bequeathed to the Municipality of Pesaro through the precious generosity of the family. "This exhibition is the cherry on top of the extraordinary year as the Italian Capital of Culture. The works of Maestro Vangi enhance the cultural heritage of our city - said Mayor Andrea Biancani - for us, it is a source of pride to be able to exhibit them now at the Pescheria Visual Arts Center, while waiting for the permanent museum dedicated to him to be realized at the Mazzolari Mosca palace on Via Rossini. Vangi is one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, who chose to donate his works to the city. An extraordinary gesture of generosity, for this I want to thank once again the family and all those who made this exhibition possible." "We thank Pesaro for welcoming our father's works with such enthusiasm - said his son Marco Vangi - who chose to leave them to all the enthusiasts of the city. Thank you all," he concluded. The exhibition is promoted by the Municipality of Pesaro and the Pescheria Foundation - Visual Arts Center in collaboration with Pesaro Museums; organized by Civita Exhibitions and Museums. The exhibition represents the second episode of 'Inheriting the Future: from the great masters to digital art' a series from the rich program of Pesaro 2024 designed to investigate the close relationship that has always linked artistic research to the technological research of its time.
