The exhibition focuses on the last years of research by Thomas Braida. The artist from Friuli, born in 1982, who started very young at painting and attending Venetian environments, already has a substantial body of works ranging from various subjects and pictorial approaches.
In the eclectic art of Braida is central interest in the figurative painting of the past reread through a mixture of myth, history, genres and styles, from which are born paintings of life where they combine news, literature, politics, nightmares, fairy tales, between personal obsessions and collective imaginary. Creations that reveal a deep historical-artistic knowledge and at the same time a mocking and mystifying charge.
