The Municipality of Pesaro and the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino in collaboration with the MIUR - Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance, the Fondazione Pescheria and Sistema Museo, present the exhibition "Surprize", a collective of 41 young artists from Urbino Academy which, for the occasion, hosts four photographers from the prestigious Yildi z Technical University of Istanbul.

The exhibition at the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria opens on Tuesday 12 November at 6 pm and will be open until 8 December 2019.

The title plays on the meaning of the English term which evokes the theme of surprise but also, by assonance, that of the prize. In fact, one of the works presented received an award and a cash prize, made official during the inaugural event and awarded by a jury composed of the curators Simone Ciglia, Marcello Smarrelli and Saverio Verini, the gallery owner Federica Schiavo and the artist Patrick Tuttofuoco .

The artist who most "surprised" the commission was Silvia Capuzzo, for her painting that makes use of conventional subjects taken from everyday life, thesis between figuration and abstraction: pages of a diary that tell of a deep interest in life and for the images that represent it. In addition, two special mentions "Surprize Experimentation" to Agnese Spolverini and Arianna Pace.
