After the success of the 2019 edition, the Pescheria Foundation of Pesaro and the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino announce "Surprize 2", the second edition of the collective of students from the Urbino Academy which, for the occasion, is hosting this year the young photography students of the prestigious University of West Attica in Athens. Another novelty of particular importance is the official presentation in the exhibition of the winners of the first edition of the Federico Alessandri Prize, established by the Academy of Fine Arts and the ISIA of Urbino, to commemorate the deserving pupil who died prematurely, who had attended the two schools and left an indelible memory.

Organized in collaboration with the MIUR - Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance and the Municipality of Pesaro, the exhibition is hosted at the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria, in the Loggiato and in the Suffragio church, from 28 October until 6 December 2020.

The title plays on the modification of the English word surprise into surprize which evokes the theme of surprise but also, by assonance, that of the prize. Born as an annual event dedicated to the promotion of young artists who are trained in the Marche region, the award is an important opportunity for collaboration and sharing between subjects and institutions active in the territory and beyond, in the artistic and cultural sphere.
