In the year of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the death of Gioachino Rossini (Pesaro 29 February 1792 - Paris 13 November 1868), declared by law "Rossinian year", the exhibition was conceived by the Organizing Committee of the Rossinian Celebrations, is promoted from the Municipality of Pesaro, the Municipality of Urbino, the Municipality of Fano, in collaboration with the Marche Region, and organized by Sistema Museo.
An inter-institutional project that confirms a profitable broadened and shared vision in territorial promotion - already tested and confirmed by the success of the previous widespread exhibition "Secret Renaissance" - capable of favoring the construction and affirmation of a strong identity, enhancement cultural heritage and the promotion of tourism.
Divided into three locations, the “Rossini 150” itinerary maintains a basic homogeneity and explores particular aspects of Rossini's life, work, places and more generally of Rossini's time.
