Pesaro Unesco Creative City of Music welcomes a new exhibition project that sees “author music” as the protagonist, a mirror of our recent history and an instrument of exploration and interpretation of the great political and social transformations of that period.
After stopping in Bologna, the exhibition “NOI. They weren't just songs ” . Organized by the Municipality of Pesaro - Department of Beauty and Museum System, it will be open to the public from Sunday 12 July at Palazzo Mosca - Musei Civici, place of the city's cultural identity, and at the Rossini National Museum, the new museum dedicated to the son of a era that generated the first pop star ante litteram: Gioachino Rossini.
Open until January 10 , it will be a 360-degree event, a great representation of recent Italian history from 1958 to 1982 : twenty-five revolutionary years in all aspects, social, ethical and economic of our country, told through Music, which has speak its language, describe its facts, breathe its atmosphere and return its emotions.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, and by the Marche Region, as well as by FIMI, RAI, SCF and SIAE, the exhibition is produced by Bibibus Events and is curated by Gianpaolo Brusini, Giovanni De Luna, Lucio Salvini , with the participation of Fabri Fibra, Marco Tullio Giordana, Vittorio Nocenzi, Giorgio Olmoti and Omar Pedrini, to guarantee the historical / scientific rigor, the high cultural value and the strong didactic / educational imprint.
Enclosed between two hugs, that of Domenico Modugno on the stage of Sanremo 1958 and that of Paolo Rossi on the night of Madrid who in 1982 graduated Italy as world champion, the exhibition proceeds chronologically to touch every aspect of social life, costume, news, work and changes in ethical and moral convictions of those years.
