From 30 May to 7 June 2020
The program of the Pescheria Foundation - Centro Arti Visive continues with a new project dedicated to painting with the exhibition "Welcome (soul of the painter as a young man)", by Gianni Politi (Rome 1986), curated by Marcello Smarrelli, with a text by Davide Irons.
Organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Pesaro - Department of Beauty and the Marche Region, the exhibition opens on Saturday 14 December at 6 pm and will be open until 15 March 2020.
After the personal exhibitions of Thomas Braida and Matteo Fato, a trilogy is completed with Gianni Politi designed to investigate and present as many ways of understanding painting today.
A painter is a world made up of images, recurrences and small manias that accompany him during his life and that very often are keys to understanding his intentions and motivations. Gianni Politi has created a triple intervention for the spaces of the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria whose function is to reveal some internal relationships of his work. A process of "reuse of materials" in which, alongside a calculated schedule, a series of random events come into play.
Three types of works that present Politi's research as a mise en scene of his path.
