closed Raphael in Umbria

The show

After four months, the Museum of Palazzo Baldeschi al Corso reopens to the public. In addition to the permanent collections of the Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia Foundation, visitors will have the opportunity to see a preview of the exhibition "Raphael in Umbria and his legacy in the Academy" which will be inaugurated on 18 September 2020, with which the CariPerugia Arte Foundation and the Academy of Fine Arts "Pietro Vannucci" want to pay homage to Raffaello Sanzio 500 years after his death.

The preview winds between the two sections that animate the exhibition: a preview of the multimedia part by the CariPerugia Arte Foundation which is made up of visual and sound suggestions, created specifically by the Umbrian company Euromedia with the scientific supervision of Francesco Federico Mancini; an anticipation by the Academy, which exhibits Raphael's Madonna del Cardellino (detail) in a drawing by Annibale Vitiani. It is a "photo copy", made for the exam test of the School of Figure in 1893, by the then seventeen year old student from Perugia of the "Vannucci" Academy.
