From October 3, 2025 to January 18, 2026, the National Gallery of Umbria in Perugia hosts the exhibition Luigi Spina. The Umbria of San Francesco, set up inside the path of the Perugian museum in room 39. Winner of the Photography Strategy 2024 competition, promoted by the General Directorate of Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, Luigi Spina has created a work that traces the Franciscan places of Umbria through a contemporary sensibility. With this project, a new section of the collection of the National Gallery of Umbria begins, enriching the museum's chronology without compromising its coherence and high quality. The Umbrian landscapes and urban contexts, captured by Spina's wise eye, evoke the suspension of time typical of Franciscan places, offering a deep look at a spirituality that, although rooted in the past, retains its revolutionary strength intact.
