“The desire is to create an open space in dialogue with the square, whose fulcrum will be two luminous sculptures joined by a dancefloor that will invite collective participation to activate the space with the use of the body, following the suggested dance steps.”

The first installation will reproduce the structure of a choir, inspired by ephemeral baroque scenography, while the second, more vertically slender, will stand on a platform that will act as a meeting and sharing centre, bringing the public closer to the work. The latter will be an explosion of light and words, with cone-shaped luminous signs that will transmit messages of emancipation and empowerment of the individual in a collective creative context. Both installations will actively involve the community at every stage of the creative process, not just the final result. We wish to unite different creative energies through involvement on multiple levels: the phrases present in the tree-shaped signs will be selected together with associations and schools, enhancing the expressions of local tradition; the steps to be included in the dance carpet will be chosen collaboratively with the population; finally, participation in the inauguration performance will give life to a real public event in the urban space.
