The exhibition is inspired by an indication of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage which has designated 2018 as the year of Italian food. Through a significant selection of prints and paintings, often unpublished, present in the Monza civic collections, a possible path is proposed to investigate the relationship between art, food, sacred history and myth over the centuries. They are engravings ranging from the seventeenth century to the period of neoclassical engraving, of paintings scaled from the sixteenth century to the mid-twentieth century.
