The Civic Museums celebrate the figure of one of the protagonists of Monza painting between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries through a series of initiatives:

Temporary exhibition in the museum of the unpublished painting by Pompeo Mariani Portrait of his nephew Giovanni Pitscheider from 1905, on loan from the Pompeo Mariani archive.

"Pompeo Mariani (1857-1927). The unpublished story of a great nineteenth century painter"
Presentation of the monographic volume by Paolo Lunardi Versienti. The Frammenti d'Archivio event will open, a film directed by Giovanni Pitscheider, President of the Pompeo Mariani Archive. The meeting will be coordinated by Paolo Biscottini, present Giovanni Pitscheider, Paolo Lunardi Versienti, Rodolfo Profumo, Aurora Scotti.
