The Milan Cathedral Museum is located on the ground floor of Palazzo Reale and was inaugurated in 1953. The museum has enriched its rooms and collections in relation to the work of replacing the works that are being restored for conservation reasons. The exhibition itinerary inside the museum opens with the Treasury and then with the history of the Duomo through the centuries. Statues, stained glass windows, paintings, tapestries, architectural models, terracotta and plaster casts are the testimonies that come from the Monument. The Museum today offers various educational services with schools, families and guided tours, through in-depth and study materials.
