From 10 May to 30 May 2018
First solo exhibition in Italy of the Japanese artist and calligrapher Sisyu who, with a philosophical approach, combines tradition and innovation. The selection of about 40 works including large paintings on canvas that reinterpret classical (including erotic) Japanese art; suspended calligraphic sculptures that cast their long shadows on the walls giving an added value to the three-dimensionality; a large video installation, which stages the writings through suggestive plays of light and shadow.
