From October 30th to November 23rd at the Luciana Matalon Foundation, Nello Taietti presents “The transience of beauty”, a deep, lyrical, and disturbing journey that explores the eternal dialectic between beauty and fragility. A photography exhibition, composed of over 70 works, which opens as an ode to human grace and then culminates in a universal reflection on the ephemeral nature of life.The exhibition path begins with the representation of feminine beauty, portrayed in a dimension suspended between idealization and vulnerability. The plastic perfection of the photographed bodies, evoked with an almost sacred delicacy, becomes here a vehicle for meditation on impermanence: every foldof the skin, every gaze fixed in the moment, carries with it the premonition of intrinsic fragility that cannot be ignored. The photographer invites us to seebeyond the appearance of perfection, revealing to us that beauty, precisely in its ephemeral nature, gains meaning and value. A beauty never understood asa definitive presence but as a suspension that heralds change and ultimately dissolution.Continuing through the maze of corridors of the Foundation, the common thread that links all the shots is the wind, a silent but constant presence that metaphoricallyevokes the precariousness and impending instability of every form of life. An invisible but unstoppable natural force that disrupts order and disturbs theserenity of the subjects represented. This element becomes a symbol of time, of inevitable transformation, of the decay to which everything issubjected.
