The Istituto Svizzero presents C&G in Milan, an exhibition by Gritli Faulhaber (1990) and Costanza Candeloro (1990). The two emerging artists belong to a young art scene characterized by numerous connections between Italy and Switzerland. Especially between the cities of Milan, Zurich and Geneva, connections have developed in recent years that have produced common projects and collaborations between actresses/actors and protagonists of the artistic and cultural scene.

Despite the different choice of means of expression – Gritli Faulhaber uses paint almost exclusively, while Costanza Candeloro creates drawings, video works and sculptures – the two artists share a strong research approach, which feeds on references to the history of art but also to adolescent or pop culture, and from an interest in very different forms of image production. For this exhibition, both have developed new works that are in their own way site-specific.
