The current trend of infections from SARS Cov-2 has forced us to reflect on the feasibility and organization of the inauguration of the Anime Inverse photo exhibition. We have therefore decided that the inauguration will take place behind closed doors on Thursday 22 October , to ensure maximum protection of the health and safety of users and organizers, but it will be possible to follow the event on social networks, in addition the 20 photos of the project will be visible until October 31 at the Luciana Matalon Foundation in Milan.

The Anime Inverse exhibition is one of the events organized by Villaggio Amico to celebrate an important anniversary: the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Villaggio Amico multipurpose center.

The ANIME INVERSE photographic project involved elderly people and RSA operators and was born from the desire of the guests of the structure to make the people who take care of their well-being live experiences lived in their own lives. A collective tribute of memories and emotions between those in need and those who can respond to this need since the 'taking care' of a person also passes through the hands, the looks, the gestures of affection, the identification.

A journey through time through the various eras experienced by the guests, each with its own peculiarities. Through the make-up, hairstyles and accessories of the time we have retraced history starting from the elegance of the 20s to the most recent and transgressive 80s, passing through the legendary 50s.

The two souls, old and young , reflecting on each other, have experienced an inverse journey where the elderly soul has accompanied the youngest on a journey through memories.

A long and careful search for original objects and accessories from each era has allowed us to recreate past scenarios and authentic portraits.

The 20 photos were taken by photographer Livio Moiana , and will be exhibited at the Luciana Matalon Foundation, Foro Buonaparte n.67 Milan (M1 Cairoli metro).
