At the MUSMA , Museum of Contemporary Sculpture of Matera, in via San Giacomo (Sasso Caveoso), the Teatro del tempo exhibition opens. Arnaldo Pomodoro in Matera , curated by Antonio Calbi .

The exhibition is organized by the Zètema Foundation of Matera , in collaboration with the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation and Civita Mostre, with the support of the Municipality of Matera and APT Basilicata .

At Palazzo Pomarici will be exhibited works of spatialist research from the end of the 1950s and works relating to scenic projects created by master Arnaldo Pomodoro, one of the greatest exponents of contemporary world sculpture.

It is a source of particular pride for the MUSMA to welcome The Beginning of Time n. 2 , a work from 1958 that has never before been exhibited in a museum.

The inauguration will be attended by the president of the Zètema Foundation of Matera Raffaello de Ruggieri, the curator of the exhibition and scientific director of the Zètema Foundation Antonio Calbi, Teresa Pomodoro, sister of the master, and Beatrice Montebello, niece of the master, Anna Kiehl, Domenico Bennardi, mayor of Matera, and Antonio Nicoletti, director of APT Basilicata.
