The Kunsthalle Mainz is an exhibition space in Mainz dedicated to contemporary art. It is based in a former boiler and machine factory designed by Eduard Kreyssig in 1887, converted into an exhibition space in 2006. It regularly organizes temporary monographic and thematic exhibitions of international importance. The exhibitions are also accompanied by numerous interdisciplinary activities, such as workshops for children or teenagers, series of conferences, often held by artists, film and video projections.
