The Musée national Adrien Dubouché is a museum in Limoges entirely dedicated to Limoges porcelain - the main producer of porcelain in France - and to the history of ceramics. Inaugurated in 1845, the museum preserves over 18,000 ceramic and glass works, covering a span of time from different eras, from antiquity to the present day. The objects also come from different peoples: in addition to the Limoges porcelain collection, there are works from ancient Greece, Europe (from the 18th century to the present day), Chinese and Islamic porcelain, Venetian glass and Bohemian crystals, and much the museum also organizes numerous temporary exhibitions to explore the theme.
