On Saturday 4 February, the interactive exhibition " I speak as I eat " opens in Torre Viscontea, in collaboration with the PIME Onlus Foundation and created thanks to the contribution of DUSSMAN srl . The exhibition is part of the " Save the Food " project, born in April 2022 thanks to the trust of the Lecchese Community Foundation, which aims to be a response to a visible increase in food poverty, supporting access to food for families who are in difficult conditions following the health emergency and combating the phenomenon of food waste.

The exhibition intends to address in particular the issues of sustainable consumption , the safeguarding of food quality , the coexistence between the needs of the countryside and the city, the traceability of products, food waste and the education of new generations of consumers attentive to the global context in which individual and collective choices are made. "I speak as I eat" aims to be a laboratory of thought and action: through a series of interactive installations, dialogue with visitors will be possible, a source of curiosity and interest while not giving up content and insights.

The experience of the temporary exhibition is configured as a "journey" through five "rooms", which symbolically represent the educational path required of the visitor: the room of the sacredness of the Earth, the world market, the room of Italian products, that of food waste and the conviviality room. “Parlo come Mangio” entrusts everyone with an invitation and a commitment: to think about the future together by starting to act in everyday life, aware that our individual actions now have global effects.
