From 1 July to 30 July 2023 at the Torre Viscontea the photographic exhibition "THE HIDDEN PROVINCE" will be held, organized by the FIAF (Italian Federation of Photographic Associations) associated circles in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecco and the Lecco Urban Museum System.

The general project "THE HIDDEN PROVINCE", dedicated to topics of historical, naturalistic, cultural or artistic interest in the area, involved the FIAF Circles of the provinces of Lecco, Milan, Como, Varese and Pavia. The photographs in the exhibition punctuate stories to be rediscovered through the reading of the images created by the members of the four FIAF Circles of the Province of Lecco which interpret the cultural, social and iconographic contexts of the area.

In particular, the photographs taken by the FOTOLIBERA Association of Merate, which developed the theme of the Architectures of Memory , by the LIBERO PENSIERO Photoclub of Lecco, which examined the torrents of Lecco between past and present , by the Associazione PASSION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY of Galbiate, which gave prominence to the wine production in Terra Lariana and by the RESEARCH AND PROPOSAL Photography Club of Dolzago, which analyzed the hidden signs of the Sacred.
