On Friday 24 February the new Baby Pit Stop will be inaugurated at Palazzo delle Paure , a space dedicated to mothers and children, promoted by Unicef and the collaboration of the Soroptimist International Club of Lecco with the Municipality of Lecco and the Lecco Urban Museum System.

The Unicef Baby Pit Stops (BPS) are protected and well-kept environments, designed for all those mothers who want a safe place to breastfeed their baby and change the diaper. For this reason, UNICEF Italy, as part of the Together for Breastfeeding, has the objective of realizing it throughout the Italian territory.

The one set up in Palazzo delle Paure will be a particularly well-kept place from an aesthetic point of view. In fact, the space is enclosed by panels depicting the mother work in blue and light blue by Trento Longaretti , exhibited in the Contemporary Art Gallery on the second floor. A hug between mother and son, an image that was chosen with particular attention to the theme and the relaxing colors, to bring the visitor closer to the continuation of the visit to the museum complex. Its construction is in fact part of the redevelopment project of the reception areas located on the ground floor of the Palazzo delle Paure.

In the Baby Pit Stop, mothers and children will find a comfortable seat, a changing table and a corner equipped for children to play, all in a welcoming nest designed especially for citizens.
