From February 19th to March 20th 2022 the Visconti Tower hosts the exhibition “The risk of the newspaper *. Novello reinterpreted by Giulio Ceppi.

Giulio Ceppi, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecco and the Lecco Urban Museum System, present the exhibition “ The risk of everyday life * Yesterday as today: the values of Italians and their inevitable weaknesses. Novello reinterpreted by Giulio Ceppi ”.

The exhibition, curated by Angela and Giulio Ceppi, exhibits the drawings of Giuseppe Novello reinterpreted by Giulio Ceppi , which aims to actualize those situations that have remained unchanged today, despite the passage of time, globalization and the invasive advent of technology in our lives. .

The exhibition is made up of a succession of tables showing the original cartoons by Novello accompanied by the intervention of Ceppi. Accompanying the exhibition there are some canvases and the reproduction of a fresco painted by the artist in the cellar of Luigi Santucci, a well-known writer of the alpine song "La leggenda della Grigna" ò. 

It is a childhood memory that gives birth to this exhibition, which takes shape to restore, with grace and sagacity, malice, indulgence, and a little self-irony, the sociological framework of our society.
