From 3 September to 1 October 2023, the Torre Viscontea will host the exhibition Carlo Maria Giudici 1973 | 2023. Fifty years of artistic life

The exhibition, curated by Barbara Cattaneo with the collaboration of Elena Negri and Chiara D'Anna, showcases the pictorial journey of Carlo Maria Giudici in the various decades of his career and intends to celebrate his fifty years of artistic life .

The exhibition develops in an itinerary with multiple works and small artifacts that embrace various techniques and deal with the master's favorite themes. The use of the composition in its expressive gestures , of light and color are the emblematic elements that characterize the present works; in particular the artist studies and experiments in the pictorial process the value of color which, transformed by the relationship with light, becomes a source of vitality. For over twenty-five years, in the summer period, the master has moved to Valvarrone in Subiale di Introzzo where the uncontaminated mountain nature is an inexhaustible source of artistic inspiration.

More than fifty prizes and artistic recognitions; more than sixty are the catalogs and art books that deal with his pictorial activity; more than one hundred people, art critics, journalists, gallery owners, collectors, writers, poets, who have written about him, among which we mention: F. De Gregorio, S. Falzone, E. Foglia, G. Falossi, M. Ferrario, P. Levi, G. Martucci, S. Serradifalco, A. Sala, C. D'Aquino Mineo, R. De Salvatore, S. Nugnes, R. Crepaldi; sixteen are the titles of academic merit or equivalent certificates.

Carlo Maria Giudici is also available to the public at his Studio/Artist's Residence for meetings regarding the profession and artistic knowledge and, during the exhibition period, it will be possible to get to know the artist directly and pleasantly experience those emotions that the beauty of his works expresses.
