Eureka! The National Children's Museum

Eureka! The National Children's Museum is a children's museum located in the city of Halifax. Founded by Vivien Duffield in 1985, the museum offers interactive activities and is particularly dedicated to learning through play for children aged 0-11. The Eureka museum inside is divided into four main galleries: the Spark Gallery, opened in July 2017, presents itself as a flexible exhibition space; the All About Me, inaugurated in March 2013, explores the themes of health, well-being and the human body; Living and working together, or the. reconstruction of a square complete with a bank, fountain, garage and shops) and a house, the SoundSpace or an interactive gallery that encourages children to discover the science of sound and music, with the help of Orby the Alien. Inside Eureka there is also the sound garden, "The Beach" which is perhaps the largest outdoor sandpit in the north of England and "The Wonder Walk", an outdoor sensory journey.
