The Museum of Memory of Andalusia, housed in the modern CajaGranada Cultural Center in Granada, is an innovative cultural center that tells the story, culture, and identity of Andalusia through interactive and audiovisual methods. Designed to engage the public on multiple levels, it offers an immersive experience that traces the evolution of the region from prehistory to the present day.
The journey unfolds in four main thematic sections: diversity of natural landscapes, models of daily life, social and community structures, and Andalusian art and culture. Each area is enriched with digital tools, tactile stations, and immersive settings designed to promote a participatory understanding of Andalusian heritage. The so-called "Windows of History" allow virtual journeys to discover real or anonymous characters, witnesses of the social and existential evolution of the region.
The center also offers a lively cultural program: temporary exhibitions, educational workshops, film screenings, guided tours, and activities for families and schools, with the aim of stimulating reflection on the past and promoting an informed and aware society.
