The José Guerrero Center is a museum in the Spanish city of Granada that focuses on 20th-century art in all its facets. In addition, the artistic vision and work of José Guerrero from Granada, from whom the center takes its name and who owns the largest public collection, is narrated here. José Guerrero, painter and engraver of abstract style, is recognized by many young artists as one of the most important artists of the last generations.

The Center's Collection covers a wide time span that allows us to set milestones of Guerrero's artistic production: four works have been selected that exemplify the essential concerns of the artist and the influences of his early teachers. The works in question are: The apparition (1946), Panoramica di Roma (1948) and Due spinatori (1948) in which there are both very clear references to Matisse, as regards the use of color, as well as a reference to Picasso and his Cubism; always in the context of the figurative renewal that he attempted at the end of his studies.
