The Laboral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial in the city of Gijon in Asturias, is an exhibition center specifically dedicated to art, science, technology and advanced visual industries.

The center was inaugurated and opened in 2007.

It was born as a real place for research, for training, for artistic and technical production, and for the projection of new forms of art and industrial creation.

The center is characterized by a transversal and integrated programming.

Its activities are in fact aimed at all types of public and its ultimate goal is to disseminate and share nine forms of knowledge.

The Laboral Centro de Arte y Producción Industrial is, ultimately, a multidisciplinary institution that produces, disseminates and promotes access to new cultural expressions born from the creative use of ICT (information and communication technologies), as well as a platform for access to tools and knowledge exchanges to support artists and creators in developing ambitious projects in the arts and industry creation environment.

Temporary exhibitions are organized in the LAB covering various themes: from technology, to science and photography.
