Fifty years of artistic work by Rino Valido, fifty years of color and creativity in an exhibition centered on the artistic and industrial vitality of Genoa, and therefore of Italy, from the distant years of the economic boom to the present day. An exhibition event which, through Rino Valido's painting, sculpture, ceramics and design, will allow us to understand the complexity of his artistic production and, more particularly, to see the beauty of industrial work, made of steel and automation, of complex systems and electronics, shipyards and electricity. Rino Valido's activity as a designer began in the 1970s, when the Finsider company (Società Finanziaria Siderurgica SPA) entrusted Rino Valido with the task of designing and designing its stand (1000 m2) at the Fiera del Levante in Bari .

A long collaboration also followed with other industrial companies among the most important in Italy such as Finmeccanica (now Leonardo), Ansaldo, Oto Melara, Italimpianti, Elsag, ElsagDatamat, Finmare, Marconi Italiana. In addition to the entrepreneurial system, there will be a non-negligible collaboration with public bodies (Liguria Region, Municipality of Genoa...) and banking institutions such as Carige (now BPER).

The exhibition includes the creation of some creativity workshops aimed at boys and girls, in collaboration with some institutes in the metropolitan area. These workshops will be carried out in agreement with the painting teachers of the institutes involved, and will include a guided tour with Maestro Valido followed by a creative workshop on the decomposition of grays and abstract reconstruction. The objective is to provide some basic notions through a practical activity that will help children understand the essence of color beyond the digital representation that they use on a daily basis. All this always under the guidance of the Master.
