The Highlights exhibition opens to the public on Friday 26 May 2023. Masters from the 1500s to the 18th century by the National Museums of Genoa staged, until 24 September 2023, in the Teatro del Falcone of Palazzo Reale and dedicated to the heritage of the collections of the National Museums of Genoa, with over forty works by great artists such as Joos van Cleve , Tintoretto, Orazio Gentileschi, Antoon van Dyck, Guercino, Grechetto, Bernardo Strozzi, five of which are recent purchases by the Ministry of Culture on display for the first time.
The two Genoese museums bring their main works from the 1500s to the 1700s into dialogue for the first time in a special setting, thus highlighting the richness of the ancient Genoese collections.
