The exhibition, curated by Maurizio Vanni and Emma Zanella, recounts the multifaceted and rich production of the father of American Pop Art who, during his long career, was a painter, illustrator, screenwriter, film and television producer, director, director of photography and he actor himself, a figure who has radically changed the way of seeing and perceiving contemporary society.
The review, entitled Andy Warhol. Serial Identity, to underline how much his research is characterized by absolute versatility and the desire for transformation, retraces Warhol's entire creative universe through over 200 works, from the first drawings made for publishing and fashion, to the most important works pop where the main protagonists are celebrities, such as musicians, directors, designers, politicians, actors, to the commercial brands of large companies, who have become icons of a new way of living and consuming, banal elements of everyday life elevated to contemporary icons.
