The Ugo Guidi Museum - MUG in Forte dei Marmi for the 201st exhibition presents the works of Alexey VLADIMiROV titled "From Love to Hate", in which the important internationally renowned sculptor, of Cossack origin but coming from Ukraine although now residing in the marble homeland in Miseglia di Carrara, exhibits his sculptures and graphic works both at the museum and at the Logos Hotel, introduced by Vittorio Guidi and Mohammad Sazesh.
Alexey Vladimirov was born in 1957 in Kuban. In 1984, he graduated from the State Institute of Art in Kiev. Since 1987, he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. The name of Alexey Vladimirov is well known both in Ukraine and abroad. The sculptor's works are exhibited in major galleries and museums including the National Art Museum of Ukraine (Kiev), the Russian Art Museum of Kiev, and the National Museum of Ukrainian History (Kiev). One of Vladimirov Alexey's works, titled "Family," decorates a park in Chernihiv. Made of Indian sandstone with a special author's technique. The master's works are found in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Sweden, Austria, England, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy, and the United States. According to critics, Vladimirov's works, presented in a solo exhibition in California (USA), have defined a "new era of sculpture." Since 1984, the artist has been actively participating in stone and wood sculpture symposiums en plein air. He is the organizer of the International Symposium in Yuzhnoukrainsk (Ukraine, 2002) and the director of the International Sculpture Symposium en plein air in Gurzuf (Crimea, 2006). Vladimirov is also a participant, organizer, and artistic director of numerous stone and wood sculpture symposiums. The fundamental task that the author has set for himself is the definition of a spatial universalism, in which each work of the artist can easily fit into any landscape.
Vladimirov is a very positive person and a talented author of works of art, both sculptures and paintings, he works confidently with both stone and metals. He has created and implemented numerous projects in Ukraine and far beyond its borders: monuments, art objects, sculptures for parks, and much more. We are certain that if we were to describe his entire creative path, it would take an entire book on an exceptional figure in Ukrainian art. Alexey Vladimirov's exhibition activity includes more than 70 artistic projects - collective and solo exhibitions in Ukraine (Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, Chernihiv, Yalta, Dnipro, Lutsk), Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto), Sweden (Gothenburg, Malmo), Germany (Berlin). The master's works are found in numerous museums, galleries, and private collections in Ukraine, Sweden, Austria, England, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the United States, and other countries around the world. He currently lives in Miseglia di Carrara and strongly wanted to exhibit his sculptural and graphic works at the Ugo Guidi Museum in Forte dei Marmi.
