After the exhibition of masterpieces from the first half of the twentieth century, which were received with great interest by the public and critics, what is now being revealed in the Roberto Casamonti Collection displayed at the Piano Nobile of Palazzo Bartolini Salimbeni is the art of the second half of the century.

The list of artists present here is comprehensive. Starting with the Arte Povera movement from Penone, Ceroli, Zorio, Merz, Pistoletto, Kounellis, Gilardi, Boetti, Calzolari up to Pascali. While Biasi, Colombo, and Bury represent Kinetic or Programmed Art. Agnetti and Paolini, Conceptual Art. For Nouveau Réalisme, there are works by Cesar, Arman, Spoerri, Klein, Hains, Christo, while Nam June Paik and Chiari represent the Fluxus movement. Then the so-called Piazza del Popolo School with Schifano, Angeli, Festa, Tacchi, Mambor and Lombardo; Land Art with Long and Christo; New Dada with Rauschenberg and Dine. Gilbert&George, Ontani, Marina Abramovič, Vanessa Beecroft interpret Body Art, accompanied by Bill Viola's video; while in reference to Pop and Graffiti Art, there are Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Basquiat. The Transavanguardia movement is documented by Paladino, Clemente, De Maria, and Chia. Along with them, the Collection presents a no less spectacular sequence of other interpreters: from Pomodoro, De Dominicis, Parmiggiani, Adami, Marca-relli, Uncini, Cattelan, Isgrò. Among the greats of international art, we remember works by: Mirò, Tàpies, Uecker, Kiefer, Kapoor, Cragg.
