Elisa Seitzinger is one of the names that is making the most headlines on the contemporary art scene. Curious and eclectic illustrator , she has been able to give voice and visual power to an extraordinary imagination .

Hers is an unmistakable and fascinating world , resulting from composite and multiple suggestions: Seitzinger is electrocuted and dazzling, draws from and dialogues with sacred and courtly medieval art, revisits bestiaries, models Byzantine mosaics and Orthodox icons, introduces us to the world of tarot, looks at esoteric and classical iconography, is inspired by votive offerings and primitive painting. A deep and precise research , never dictated by chance, always elegant and full of meaning.

The one in Domodossola (Verbania, Piedmont) represents the artist's first one-man show in northern Italy, between the great centers of Milan and Turin, a few kilometers from the Swiss border. A real return to the origins , in the Ossola alpine valleys, where Seitzinger was born and raised. From Saturday 12 November to Sunday 5 February 2023 - an immersive journey between the sacred and the profane that winds through the imposing and solemn atmospheres of the historic Mellerio Rosmini College , an institute dedicated to Antonio Rosmini Serbati (1797-1855), priest, author of writings of asceticism, theology, philosophy, pedagogy, one of the greatest Italian thinkers of the nineteenth century.

"Seitzinger Alchemica" traces the fundamental stages of the author's career, the projects, the poetics, the inspirations, but also the dialogues with important names in art, culture, music and publishing, such as collaborations with the singer-songwriter Vinicio Capossela , the Turin Book Fair , the writer and radio presenter Loredana Lipperini .
