closed The Reflex Game

The show

The Reflected Game is a traveling exhibition that involves a multiplicity of artists from different backgrounds who grapple with the theme of the title through original and constant experimentation.

The psychological need in which the game itself becomes a reflection of man, free from external and social conditioning, counteracts the lightness, creativity and desire / need to relate between individuals. In fact, through recent studies on educational activities and therapeutic arts, it has been confirmed that the evolution of play grows and changes in step with the intellectual and psychological development of man, regardless of age, and responds to a need and to a pleasure of leisure, recreation, a 'break' from daily duties.

According to what we read in the dictionary, “the game was indicated in Latin with the term iocus ; the competitive competition, on the other hand, was called ludus . For reasons that have remained mysterious, in the Italian language the word game has ended up incorporating both these meanings, while in English, for example, two distinct words are still used: play (in the sense of iocus ) and game (in the sense of ludus ) ".

The exhibition represents the synthesis of both aspects and is configured as a path where the same Art becomes a stimulus to interact and interpret the works in a heartfelt and engaging way.
