Art returns home. Next autumn, the Reggia di Caserta will present the exhibition "Everything returns! New acquisitions and returns to the collections of the Reggia di Caserta", set up in the back rooms of the Throne Room.

The exhibition brings together works recently acquired or returned to the Museum's collections, including paintings by Fedele Fischetti, Mariano Rossi, and Francesco Liani. These are assets that in recent years have been returned by other institutions or acquired to enrich the permanent exhibition path, in coherence with the historical and artistic identity of the Vanvitellian Complex.

Through paintings, sculptures, and furnishings, the exhibition documents the work carried out by the Reggia di Caserta in recomposing and enhancing the heritage. The exhibition makes visible to the public the return of works linked to the history of the site and its original decorative project.

In the Royal Apartments, the narrative revolves around the stories of these objects, their movements, and their return, contributing to reconstructing the historical-artistic physiognomy of the museum collections in a fascinating spatiotemporal journey.
