Gillo Dorfles returns to his beloved Paestum 2 years after his death with an exhibition dedicated to him to celebrate and pay homage to the partnership that, in about twenty years, the Trieste artist and art critic has been able to weave with the Pestanian territory and its community.

From September 17, 2020 , in the spaces of Tower 28 of the ancient city walls of Paestum, a collection of about one hundred works of minimal materials, canvases, graphics and ceramics, created during the numerous stays in Dorfles when, far from the big cities, will be exhibited of the north, the "angel of criticism" returned to paint.

“Gillo Dorfles. La sua Paestum ” , curated by Nuvola Lista and Antonello Tolve, was born from a collaboration between the MMMAC | Minimal Materials Museum of Contemporary Art and the Archaeological Park of Paestum and Velia, with the financial support of the Campania Region and the patronage of the Municipality of Capaccio Paestum.
