ongoing SHAPE LIGHT COLOR

The event

The Sorlini Art Museum offers a series of experiences dedicated to children (5-11 years) to discover the essence of art and things. Through reflections, readings and workshops we will discover the three fundamental elements for the creation of works of art.

SUNDAY 24 MARCH, 3pm

WHEN ANIMALS WERE WHITE

Starting from the animated reading of Beatrice Masini's book "The animals were coloured", the children in the laboratory will be sent to experiment with many painting techniques to satisfy the requests, sometimes very bizarre, of their animal friends.

SUNDAY 21 APRIL, 3PM

WHAT AN IMPRESSION!

The animated reading of the book by Cristina Bellemo and Luna Virardi "Pieno Vuoto" will accompany the children in the garden of Mars and then in the laboratory, to try their hand at the ancient cyanotype technique - the "solar print" - and create in a different and original way drawings with commonly used shapes and objects.

SUNDAY 19 May, 3pm

THE SHAPE-SHIFTER

We will begin with the reading of "I cinque malfatti" by Beatrice Alemagna to continue with the creation of a kaleidoscope, the optical instrument capable of generating infinite and unpredictable combinations of shapes and colors.

ENTRY €8 EACH (duration: 2 hours) The purchase of all three days includes the gift of two adult entrances with a guided tour of the permanent collection, led by

Stefano Lusardi, curator of the Museum. It will be possible to carry out visits during one of the days in which the educational workshops are scheduled, simultaneously with them. RESERVATIONS at number 030.5787631.
