The exhibition presents a wide selection of Italian works of art of painting and photography created after 1950. From the dialogue between the two collections - that of the Sammlung Goetz of Munich and that of Museion - the main Italian artistic currents emerge, taking their away from the postwar rebirth. From the deconstructions of the painted canvas carried out by artists such as Lucio Fontana, Enrico Castellani and Dadamaino, up to the conceptual photography of Luigi Ghirri and then to Mario Schifano, who integrates reflection on contemporary media into his painting.
