The chosen theme for the 2025 edition of do ut do, the biennial of art, architecture, and design founded in Bologna in 2012 by Alessandra D’Innocenzo to support the activities of the Hospice MT Foundation. Chiantore Seràgnoli of Bologna, is the desire. To interpret this feeling of yearning, research, and anticipation is an unprecedented exhibition dedicated to a production still little known of the multifaceted artist of images and forms and great master of international photography Nino Migliori: the jewels. The exhibition project - conceived by Alessandra D’Innocenzo and curated by Lorenzo Balbi, realized in collaboration with the Civic Archaeological Museum of Bologna directed by Paola Giovetti, belonging to the Civic Museums of Bologna, and the Nino Migliori Foundation - opens to the public on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the evocative glass courtyard accessible from the Egyptian Section of the museum, where it remains visible until February 10, 2025. The exhibition venue hosts a nucleus of display cases positioned on marble tables designed by Mario Cucinella, in which the precious collection of jewels created by the artist between the Seventies and Eighties is exhibited, along with 5 lightboxes set up by In-Novo, with as many photographs that Migliori expressly created for the occasion, to reinterpret his creations through the art form that is most congenial to him: photography. To these works is added a limited series of author reproductions specially made by Gioielleria Giulio Veronesi (Bologna - Cortina), which reinterpret the artist's originals. The assignment of backlit works and author copies will allow funds to be raised in support of the assistance and training activities of the Hospice MT Foundation. Chiantore Seràgnoli.
